JD CUSTOM CUES
JD Custom Special One-off Collector Cue - 2009 Special Ltd Edition (Will never be made again).
Note:- This cue was made and shipped to the customer before the ristrictions on using Ivory, were enforced here in the Philippines and in other countries.
Gabon Ebony forearm with 10 hi/lo floating Ivory spearhead points, accented with ivory veneered abalone diamons recut into reversed Ivory veneered abalone spearheads floating aboce an Ivory crown above the wrap with small Ivory floating spearhead inlays below the shorter Ivory spearhead points.
Black lizard wrap.
Intricately carved, cored Ivory butt sleeve and butt cap.
Intricately carved Ivory joint collar with Gabon Ebony core and 3/8x10 thread pin with Gabon Ebony joint protectors.
Black phenolic decorative rings inlaid with sterling silver vertical 'lines' at A, B, C, D.
This cue was made with 4x Traditional solid maple shafts and is not available to be made to customer's own preference.
This particular is a special one of a kind and will not be remade from my workshop.
A similar version can be made, but Ivory is no longer permitted or used in my cues.

Gabon Ebony forearm with 6 short Amboyna burl points with Ivorine veneers connecting upright, reverse and upright Chevrons of Amboyna and Gabon Ebony with Ivorine veneer spires finished with floating spearhead spire tops.
Large Ivorine diamond inlays cut into silver X's between the base of the points and between the connecting Chevron tower points... and small Ivorine diamonds inlaid in the Ebony spaces in the base of the points and between the connecting Chevrons.
2 section wrapless Amboyna burl grip with Gabon Ebony divider band edged with thin Ivorine trim and inlaid with Ivorine notched diamonds.
Gabon Ebony butt sleeve with Ivorine notched diamonds accented by hi/lo Amboyna burl Chevrons veneered with Ivorine and long hi/lo Ivorine accenting snake lines between the diamond Chevron inlays.
Ivory joint with 3/8x10 thread pin and rare matching joint protectors with Amboyna Burl tops.
Ivorine bands inlays with mother of pearl diamonds connected to mother of pearl band ring in the centre and trimmed with thin black phenolic rings at A, B, C, D, E, F and Ivorine butt cap.
Cue was completed on Dec 22nd, 2012 and was made with traditional maple shafts.
A similar version can be made to customer's request with choice of traditional, my own style LD shafts or high end maple shafts, but design will not be exactly the same because this cue is unique.

Gabon Ebony forearm with 8 long floating Ivory points.
Ringtail lizard wrap.
Gabon Ebony butt sleeve with genuine silver inlays.
Ivory joint with 3/8x10 thread pin and ebony joint protectors.
Black phenolic bands inlaid with
genuine silver tulip head inlays at A, B, C, D, E and Ivory butt cap.
This cue was made with traditional maple shafts, but can be made to customer's request with my own LD shafts or high end maple shafts.

Note: This cue was made before Ivory was banned here in the Philippines and other countries and so, Ivory is not available for use should a customer request this design to be made and Ivorine or a different material can be used instead.

JD CUSTOM CUES - THE STORM
Birdseye maple forearm with 4 high Gabon Ebony butterfly points with notched mother of pearl dots and 4 low Gabon Ebony butterfly points all with 4 ply veneers.
Black Lizard wrap.
Gabon Ebony butt sleeve with 6 notch Mother of pearl dots accented by alternating red and white crescent accents, alternating red and white dot inlaid around the centre with accenting red/white crescent accents and vertical snake divider accents and finished with white mini butterfly arches with floating crescent accents.
Ivory joint with 3/8x10 thread pin and Ebony joint protectors.
Decorative rings of Bloodwood inlaid with mother of pearl dots and trimmed with Ivory and black phenolic at A, B, C, D and Ivory 'Hoppe' ring inlaid with mother of pearl dots and trimmed with black phenolic at E and Ivory butt cap.
This cue was made in 2011 for private collector in Japan and all the white inlays are genuine Ivory, before Philippines Government banned the use of Ivory.
Note... this cue design is available to be made to customer order, but Ivory is not available and alternative materials will be offered instead.

JD CUSTOM CUES - THE CHERRY BLOSSOM
Bloodwood forearm with 4 long narrow veneered alternating points of Bloodwood and Gabon Ebony with notched mother of pearl diamond inlays and mother of pearl on the tip of each point, recut between 4 Bloodwood butterfly points with veneers and floating flower petal inlays of mother of pearl and abalone dots.... entire forearm decorated with random placed inlay dots of mother of pearl, abalone and black phenolic.
Maple grip section with same randomly placed dot inlays of mother of pearl, abalone and black phenolic.
Butt sleeve same as forearm with points/butterflies in reverse direction.
Ivory joint with 3/8x10 thread pin and Ebony joint protectors.
Ivory bands inlaid with alternating mother of pearl and black phenolic dots with black phenolic trim rings at A, B, C, D, E and Ivory butt cap.
Cue was made in 2011 for private collector in Japan and was made with real ivory and traditional maple shafts, but can be made to customer order with choice of traditional, my own LD shafts or my high end maple shafts, but alternative inlay materials will be offered.

JD CUSTOM CUES - WARRIOR CHIEF
Holly wood forearm with veneered Malachite points and 4 long bridge veneered points of Amboyna burl with amboyna burl band at the base.
Grip sections 1 & 4: Same design as forearm, but with points and veneers inlaid into Amboyna Burl.
Grip Sections 2 & 3: Holly wood with hi/lo rows of 8 short and veneered Malachite points.
Butt Sleeve same as forearm with points in reverse direction.
Ivorine joint with radial thread pin and ebony joint protectors.
Black phenolic band rings inlaid with Ivorine veneered boxes at A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H and Ivorine butt cap.
This cue was made in 2015 with my own style LD shafts, but an alternative version of this design can be made to customer request with choice of traditional, my own LD or high end maple shafts or custom wood shafts.

Maple forearm with 10 hi/lo Gabon Ebony points recut with green stained Dymondwood with Ivorine veneers.
Wrapless green stained Dymondwood laminate grip.
Gabon Ebony butt sleeve with 8 floating narrow diamond inlays of Ivorine and green stained Dymondwood... and hi/lo rows of Ivorine veneered short, narrow green stained Dymondwood points.
Green stained Dymondwood joint collar with brass radial thread pin and Ebony joint protectors.
Decorative rings of Black Phenolic and Green Dymondwood trim with alternating inlays of maple and ebony boxes in the centre at A, B, C, D, E and Green Dymondwood butt cap.
Cue was made with my own LD shafts, but an alternative version can be made with traditional, LD or high end maple shafts or other custom wood shafts.

JD CUSTOM CUES - BLACK BOAR TRIBUTE
Highly figured Curly Maple forearm with 4 High Gabon Ebony points inlaid with long, floating Ivorine Spearhead with diagonal cut tail and silver inlay crossing the tail and 4 low Gabon Ebony points with Ivorine round base spearheads inlaid with silver diamonds with Gabon Ebony base.
Black leather wrap.
Gabon Ebony butt sleeve with 4 pairs of high/low curved Silver inlays accented with small silver diamond inlays between.
Ivorine joint with 3/8x10 thread pin and Ebony joint protectors.
Black phenolic bands inlaid with Silver diamonds at A, B, Black phenolic bands inlays with alternating silver inlays of daggers and flames and Gabon Ebony butt cap with Ivorine crown at the base.
Cue was made in 2013 with traditional maple shafts and an alternative/similar version can be made with choice of traditional, LD or high end maple shafts or custom wood shafts.

JD CUSTOM CUES - SUNSET PRAYERS
Amboyna burl forearm with 6 hi/lo veneered Gabon Ebony points.
Floating inlays of Silver veneer 'Gothic Crosses' at the base of the low points and floating silver veneered abalone spearheads with silver 'leaf' accents and smaller reversed Ivorine spearhead inlay below.
3 part grip section with top & bottom have black lizard wraps and middle section of wrapless Amboyna burl.
Ivorine joint with radial thread pin and Ebony joint protectors, (Not shown).
Black phenolic bands inlaid with alternating Ivorine inlays of diamonds and dots at A, B, C, D, E and Gabon Ebony butt cap with Ivorine crown at the base.
Cue was made with JD's high end shafts for a private customer in Germany and a similar custom version of this cue can be made to customer request with different materials and/or inlays with choice of traditional, LD or high end maple shafts or possibly other wood custom shafts.

JD CUSTOM CUES - THE MAESTRO'S CHOICE
This Gabon Ebony and Ivory cue was made in 2006 by Joel and it was his own personal playing cue for a number of years.
All the white inlays, joint collar, butt cap and shaft ferrules are made with real legal Ivory and this cue is currently available for sale from the Pool Table Magic website for $2,100 USD.

Black phenolic bands with Ivorine and Ebony 'Bushka' rings with 18k Gold trim rings at A, B, C, D, E, F, G and single Zebrawood ring between D/E, F/G with Ivorine butt cap.
Cue was made with JD's high end shafts with Carbon Fibre core, but a custom version of this model can be made to customer request with either traditional solid maple, JD's own LD shafts or custom high end shafts.
